PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device permitting to adjust a gradation characteristic even after completion of product. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device is provided with a gradation voltage generating circuit 11 for generating plural reference voltages necessary for a multi-level display, and is provided with voltage dividing circuits for generating plural positive-negative symmetrical reference voltage, from positive and negative standard voltages, and a variable voltage generating circuit 3 and a pair of operational amplifiers 4, 5 for supplying positive-negative symmetrical reference voltages for gradation control to a pair of positive and negative voltage dividing points corresponding to specific half tone of the above voltage dividing circuits.
