PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely rotate a film spool in a film cartridge and to reduce cost in a camera, in which the film cartridge housing a roll-like photographic film is loaded. SOLUTION: This camera is constituted such that, even when the tooth part 302a of a coupling gear 302 arranged at a drive force motive part 300 abuts on a tooth parts 246a of a coupling gear 246 arranged at a drive force transmission part 20 so that they overlap each other, the peak and the trough of the tooth part 302a of the gear 302 are made to coincide with those of the tooth part 246a of the gear 246, by closing a cartridge cover 24 by resisting against the energizing force of a spring member 303 arranged at the motive part 300 and rotating the gear 302 by the drive force from the motive part 300.
