PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate assembly, and prevent members from being abraded by interference based on an action of axial force, and prevent the power loss from increasing due to friction. SOLUTION: In a planetary roller type power transmission device which is provided with a fixed wheel 12, a sun roller 13 arranged inside the fixed wheel and on the same axis as the fixed wheel, plural planetary rollers 14 interposed between the sun roller 13 and the fixed wheel 12, and a carrier 17 holding the planetary rollers 14 rotatably, circumferentially at equal intervals, splines 18, 19 are provided on each one end of the sun roller 13 and the carrier 17, and thus, axial movement of the sun roller 13 and the carrier 17 is regulated by deep groove ball bearings 22, 23, 24, while axial movement of the planetary rollers 14 is regulated by side plates 20, 21.
