摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method of manufacturing a highly reliable large-capacity multilayer ceramic capacitor which can be produced at low costs. SOLUTION: This is a method of manufacturing a multilayer ceramic capacitor including the steps of: forming a ceramic green sheet on a base film 1; forming an inner electrode layer portions 2 on the film 1 by, e.g. printing metallic paste; preparing invalid layers by laminating a plurality of the ceramic green sheets; preparing a laminated green block by repetitively laminating layers one upon another, each layer being formed by alternating the layer 2 and the ceramic green sheet, on the surface of the invalid layer and thereafter laminating the invalid layer; cutting the laminated green block into predetermined green chips and thereafter firing the green chips at a predetermined temperature; and forming terminal electrodes at both ends of the baked body. In this case, the layer 2 formed on the film 1 is compressed by calendar rolls 3 and 4, or the like.
