PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent noise which interrupts a call from being generated by recording an incoming call in a memory when there is the incoming call of a facsimile to one of two communicable channels while calling by a communication means in the same case body as a recording part, recording it after the calling finishes and quickly recording during the call with a cordless slave machine. SOLUTION: Facsimile equipment 101 which is connected to an ISDN line 103 and enables communication with two channels A and B has PHS telephone sets 102-1 and 102-2 of extension line slave machines and connects lines when there is an incoming call. When there is an incoming call of a facsimile to the channel B while the facsimile equipment 101 is calling by a handset of the same case body as a recording part at the channel A, the incoming is recorded in a memory and recorded after the call finishes. The facsimile equipment 10, however, quickly records the facsimile which arrives at the channel B while calling at the channel A with the PHS telephone set 102-1 or 102-2. Thus, the noise which interferes during the call is not generated at the time of recording.
