PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accompaniment music/video reproducing device capable of fast forwarding an accompaniment music playing including text and a background picture. SOLUTION: When a fast forward is instructed by a fast forward operation section 62, a control processing section 1 instructs a timing generation section 2 to generate timing with a set speed and instructs a music playing section 3, a text display section 4 and a background video reproducing section 5 for a fast forward. When the section 5 receives an instruction for a fast forward/ normal reproducing from the section 1, a detection 51 retrieves an in-frame coded screen. When a fast forward is selected, moving picture expert group(MPEG) 1 data having only the in-frame coded screen are outputted to a reproducing section 52. When a normal reproducing is selected, all MPEG 1 data are outputted. The section 52 decodes the MPEG 1 data outputted from the section 51 for video reproducing. |
