PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repeatedly produce discharge at a fixed potential in a stable manner without being affected by a magnetic field or by resin. SOLUTION: In the middle of an inner wall of an airtight cylinder 10, one first discharge trigger wire 50 is formed into a loop crossing the inner wall of the airtight cylinder 10. On each of upper and lower parts of the inner wall, one second discharge trigger wire 60 is formed into a loop crossing the inner wall of the airtight cylinder 10. The second discharge trigger wires 60 are connected via third discharge trigger wires to nearby metallized surfaces 40 provided on upper and lower end faces, respectively, of the airtight cylinder 10. By using the first discharge trigger wire 50, second discharge trigger wire 60, and third discharge trigger wire, discharge is repeatedly generated at a fixed potential in a stable manner between a discharge surface 23 on an end of an upper discharge electrode and a discharge surface 25 on an end of a lower discharge electrode, confronting each other in the middle of the airtight cylinder 10. |
