MANUFACTURE OF ROLLED SHEET FOR PLATE OF LEAD-ACID BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a rolled sheet for a plate of a lead-acid battery supplying lead alloy foil without an intermittence. SOLUTION: For this manufacturing method for a rolled sheet in a multi-layer structure having a surface layer and a body different in alloy composition for a plate of a lead-acid battery by rolling combined lead belt 1 and lead alloy foil while the lead alloy foil is placed on the face of the lead belt 1, the lead alloy foils are overlapped each other at a connection part. If a ratio of the thickness of the lead alloy foil to that of the lead belt 1 is 0.5% or more and 4% or less, the increase of the thickness at the overlapped part does not affect much on a rolling process, thereby stabilize manufacturing.
