PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the supporting structure of a piezoelectric resonator of which resonance characteristics can be made satisfactory, and whose strength against to any impact can be made high. SOLUTION: A substrate 12 is included in a piezoelectric part 10. Pattern electrodes 14a and 14b are formed on one main face of the substrate 12. The central part of outer electrodes 32 and 34 of a piezoelectric resonator 20 is supported by a supporting member 40 at land electrodes 16a and 16b of the edge parts of the pattern electrodes 14a and 14b. The supporting member 40 includes a plurality of column-shaped members 42 made of column-shaped nickel. Packing members 44 made of epoxy resin are formed in the periphery of the column-shaped member 42.
