<p>PURPOSE: A device and a method are provided to reduce noise emitted from a driver of a reluctance machine without installng a sensor for detecting a positon of a rotor. CONSTITUTION: A control system of a switched reluctance machine comprises a reluctance machine having a rotor, a stator, and one or more phase- windings (16), a controller (50) for controlling the output of the reluctance machine, a pulse injecting means (18) for injecting diagnostic pulses into the one or more phase-windings (16) to sense the position of the rotor. The controller (50) determines the relative position of the rotor to the stator, based on the diagnostic effects of the diagnostic pulses and energizes the pulse injecting means (18) in a frequency variable way for making the sensed noise generated from a driver of the reluctance machine reduced.</p> |
