PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a business support device which can make settings so that computers in use can easily be adapted even when a company or organization using the computer has changes or even when business or a business category is changed or added. SOLUTION: The business support device is connected to equipment as a communication partner through a network and provided with a transmitting process means 216 which transmits data indicating updated data and its storage location to the communication partner when its equipment having the same structure with mutual data storage parts has data updated in its data storage part and a receiving process means 214 which rewrites the data in its data storage part into the sent data when the updated data and data indicating the storage location are sent from the opposite partner.
