PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can display a still picture while having advantage of a scroll display device. SOLUTION: The display device is provided with a display part 1 at which plural lines of pole type display group 1a in which a plurality of LEDs 1c are arranged in a row are disposed at intervals of L on a sidewall surface of a straight line part of a road 10 and a display pattern output part which outputs a still picture display pattern to the display part. Interval L is set to be a distance at which adjacent displays LED 1c of adjacent pole type display group 1a are seen by approximately overlapping each other at a place of at least several tens meters before the display part 1 toward a running direction.
