PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat developable photographic sensitive material excellent in the adhesiveness of a photosensitive layer to the substrate or a back coat layer to the substrate. SOLUTION: The heat developable photographic sensitive material has a photosensitive layer containing photosensitive silver halide, a nonphotosensitive silver salt and a reducing agent for the nonphotosensitive, silver salt on at least one face of the substrate, a back coat layer on the other face of the substrate and an undercoat layer containing a polymer whose solubility in a 0.5 wt.% aqueous alkali solution at 40 deg.C is higher than its solubility in water at 40 deg.C between the photosensitive layer and the substrate or between the back coat layer and the substrate.
