PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of assuring the starting of a system by securing the safety of the system and shortening initializing times of the whole of the system. SOLUTION: When power is supplied to a central control board 1, a reset IC 5 outputs a reset signal to a CPU 2 to perform the initializing operation of the CPU 2. When a specified time is elapsed and a reset is released, the CPU 2 reads out a control program from a ROM 3 and executes various settings in the central control board 1. When settings of the inside of the board 1 are completed, after the CPU 2 makes a reset signal to a peripheral control board 7 active, in a state in which it decides a buss state to a peripheral device and it applies a reset to the control board 7 surely, it makes the FET transistor 13 of a power source system for the peripheral control board to be in an ON state for the first time and it brings a switch device 11 into conduction to perform the initializing operations of peripheral control devices. |
