PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case capable of making confirmation that spacers arranged between a plurality of members are positioned appropriately. SOLUTION: A case 1 constitutes a tray part of a disk-type recording medium drive apparatus, and is provided with an upper housing 22 and a lower housing 23 as the respective members. The upper housing 22 is provided with a ceiling wall 25 and a boss part 27. The boss part 27 protrudes from the ceiling wall 25, and a threaded hole 28 is formed in the boss part. The lower housing 23 is provided with a bottom wall 29. A through-hole 32 facing and coinciding with the boss part 27, and a plurality of exposure holes 33 arranged at equal intervals along the peripheral direction setting the through hole 32 as the center are formed in the bottom wall 29. A spacer 46 is arranged between the bottom wall 29 and the boss part 27. The housings 22 and 23 are fixed by a screw 24, which passes the through hole 33, and is screwed in the threaded hole 28. The edge part of the spacer 46 is exposed through the exposure holes 33.
