PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shadow mask structure preventing warping of a mask frame with a simple structure, and thinning the shadow mask structure. SOLUTION: Short edge frames 12, 13 comprise short edge parts 14, 15 bridging between a pair of long edge frames 10, 11, and pairs of support parts 16, 17, 18, 19 bending in nearly vertical direction from the both ends of the short edge parts 14, 15, has a near U shape, and has outer side surfaces of the support parts 16, 17, 18, 19 in contact with inner side surfaces of the long edge frames 10, 11. The height of the outer side surfaces is equal to or shorter than that of the inner side surfaces. The support parts 16, 17, 18, 19 are located in areas between both end surfaces in a height direction of the long edge frames 10, 11.
