PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a heat emitting body storage facility and improve the cooling characteristics. SOLUTION: In the ceiling slab 5 of a cell chamber 3 supporting the array of heat emitting body container tubes 4, air introduction flow paths 18 are provided. To the lower end openings of the air introduction flow paths 18, the upper ends of air introduction pipes 19 arranged along the containing tubes 4 are connected. To the lower end openings of exhaust flow paths placed to the ceiling slab 5, the upper ends of the containing tubes 4 are connected. By operating an exhaust device 22 connected to the upper openings of the exhaust flow paths 20, the cooling air 14 outside the cell chamber 3 is made to flow in the containing pipes 4 and the heat emitting bodies are directly cooled.
