PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a motor, capable of reducing magnetic reluctance between a permanent magnet and a rotor core and simultaneously forming a uniform magnetic field, and a method for manufacturing it. SOLUTION: A pressure contact member 44 containing a magnetic material is inserted into a radial gap between the inner surface of a magnet inserting hole 43 of a rotor core 41 and a surface of a permanent magnet 42, so that the magnet 42 is brought into pressure contact with an inner surface of the hole 43. The member 44 is constituted of a hollow pipe 45, formed of the magnetic material and a resin 46 filled in the pipe 45 and containing a powder made of the magnetic material.
