PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring about economical effects in many fields by obtaining a high efficiency uninterruptible power source, having high reliability and a low running cost to support high accuracy facilities and research facilities of computers, information communication systems, medical facilities or factories of the Internet and multimedia community as an energy conservation type clean power source which has high efficiency, high power factor and high battery utility ratio without power source higher harmonic current and radio interference. SOLUTION: As shown in Fig. (a), a capacitor C1 and a control switch S1 are connected in series, and its both ends are connected to both terminals of a prescribed power source e1. Similarly, capacitors C2 to C16 and control switches S2 to S16 are respectively connected in series, their both ends are connected to a power source e1, and an output terminal for connecting a load is connected to both terminals of the power source e1. The input side of a controller 3 is connected to both terminals of the power source e1. A control switch drive signal output from the controller 3 is connected to drive the input terminals of the switches S1 to S16.
