PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity and to lower a cost by simplifying circuit constitution. SOLUTION: Image data picked up in a CCD 1 are separated into luminance signals Y and UV color difference signals and stored through an A/D converter 2, an image pickup signal processing part 3 and a memory I/F 5 and the stored luminance signals Y and UV color difference signals are inputted to a video system signal processing part 6. Then, a prescribed signal processing is executed in the video signal processing part 6 and the luminance signals Y, composite video signals CV and the UV color difference signals are outputted and respectively converted to analog signals in first - third D/A converters 7-9. Thereafter, while the composite video signals CV are video-outputted to a TV monitor 14, the luminance signals Y and the UV color difference signals are converted to RGB signals in a liquid crystal controller 15 and video-outputted to a liquid crystal panel 16.
