PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a part-fitting rate by maintaining pressure operating on parts constant with a different shape in fitting and preventing the parts with a different shapes from being damaged. SOLUTION: In this method for fitting parts 14 with a different shape, the parts 14 with a different shape having a suction surface 14a that is inclined for a horizontal surface are sucked by a suction nozzle 11 where a low end face forms an inclined surface 11a, the suction nozzle 11 is moved horizontally and vertically for sucking the parts 14 of a different shape being sucked by the nozzle 11 to a prescribed position. In the method for fitting the parts 11, an amount of suction position deviation ΔX in a horizontal direction for the parts 14 having a different shape of the suction nozzle 11 is detected, an amount of deviation of suction height ΔT for the parts 14 with a different shape of the suction nozzle 11 is calculated from the amount of deviation of a suction height ΔT and an inclination angle θ of a suction surface 14a of the parts 14 with a different shape, so that the amount of descent of the suction nozzle 11 is adjusted based on the amount of deviation of suction height ΔT. |
