PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a mesh heater to make intimate contact with even complex curved surfaces and to bring it into an electrically very stable state. SOLUTION: This mesh heater has a mesh heating element 2 comprising a plurality of heater element wires 20 each having a single element wire diameter of 0.02 to 0.12 mm and woven into tricot knitting such that loops are woven continuously on a plane in warp direction, with the knitted pitches of the tricot knitting ranging from 0.5 to 5 mm. Electrodes 3 are connected to both ends 2a, 2b of the mesh heating element 2 in the warp direction while being spaced apart from each other, and each comprise a conductive tape and a conductive adhesive for bonding the conductive tape to the front and back of the mesh heating element 2.
