PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof camera for preventing a camera cover from being distorted outward, and being capable of fully attaining waterproofing function, without increasing the number of part items of a window member. SOLUTION: For this waterproof camera, upper and lower covers 1 and 2 forming the outer periphery of the camera are made separable, so as to be open/closed, and a backing member 4 for the separation part is charged in the radial direction. The camera is provided with plural constituting members (for example, a holding member 7) for making the opening parts for the windows for a photographic lens window 1a and a liquid crystal display window, etc., which are positioned at the front and rear sides of the upper cover 1 and on the major side of the substantially rectangular opening part of the cover a waterproof structure, and at least one member of plural constituting members is made nearly half the length of the major side of the cover opening part on the respective sides, and the member is fixed to the respective front and rear side surfaces of the upper cover from the outside.
