PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a photoreceptor drum and a developing roller from excessively press-contacting with each other by absorbing space change between the photoreceptor drum and the developing roller caused by the expansion and the deformation of component parts in a process cartridge caused by heat generation associated with the operation of an image forming device. SOLUTION: When force is exerted in a direction where a distance between the photoreceptor drum 12 and the developing roller 18 is made large, a fitting projection 44 in a developing unit 11 pivotally supporting the roller 18 is moved in a direction where it goes away from the drum 12, and a fitting hole 41 on a photoreceptor unit 10 is also moved in a direction where it goes away from the drum 12. At such a time, a side plate part 10a is provided with flexible structure 50, so that the displacement of the units 10 and 11, that is, the space change between the drum 12 and the roller 18 is absorbed by the flexible action, so that the drum 12 and the roller 18 are prevented from excessively press- contacting with each other.
