PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make speedily and easily settable the kind of a readable symbol and to make it possible to easily deal with setting of a new kind of symbol readable as well. SOLUTION: A support table 40 is provided for setting whether or not a readable state is to be set for every a plurality of kinds of symbols. When a symbol is read by a symbol reading part (scanner part) 26, it is discriminated whether that symbol is in readable setting and when unreadable setting is discriminated, setting of the support table 40 to the symbol read by the symbol reading part 26 is changed to readable setting. |
