PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a word processor which can correctly insert characters into a format frame of a form and print them without requiring complicated settings, etc., to be made by a user. SOLUTION: The word processor 1 which has a scanner 3 and a printer 4 inputs image data of the form 6 having the format frame through the scanner 3, recognizes the format frame of the form in N-line units (N: integer larger than one) from the inputted image data, and generates print data matching the format frame of every N lines from the recognition result of the format frame and document data to be printed on the form and prints the data each time the format frame of every N lines is recognized. Further, the tilt angle of the form is calculated from the inputted image data and before the generated print data are printed on the form, the angle of the generated print data is corrected according to the calculated tilt angle of the form. |
