PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive packaging material for a photosensitive material having suitability to incineration and recycling and based on a polyolefin resin suppliable throughout the world at a low cost. SOLUTION: The packaging material has a thermoplastic resin film layer containing 0.1-40 wt.% zeolite having <=15% water content and 0.01-10 wt.% lubricant and preferably containing at least one selected from the group comprising a drying agent, a disoxidant, a formaldehyde scavenger and a gaseous hydrogen cyanide scavenger. The zeolite contains ions of silver and at least one metal selected from the group comprising manganese, nickel and copper.
