PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label producing method capable of reducing waste of resources and obtaining a label having excellent appearance. SOLUTION: A desired design is printed by reverse printing on the back face of a transparent film 2. An adhesive base part is prepared by forming an adhesive layer 3 on a base paper 1 and further laminating a release paper 4. The transparent film 2 is laminated on the base paper 1 side of the adhesive base paper by using a hot-melt adhesive with the printed face in contact with the base paper 1 to obtain a laminated film. The laminated film is half cut from the transparent film to the adhesive layer into a desired shape, and the unnecessary part is removed to obtain a label 8.
