PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a cleaning cartridge removably onto an opening and closing lid of a box body for storing the plural cleaning cartridges to be used conveniently. SOLUTION: A cleaning cartridge 1 layered with cleaning sheets 3 under a surface plate 2 having opened windows 4 and attached with a removable separation sheet 5 to close the opened windows 4 is stored in a storage case 8 in this cleaning cartridge for an optical connector and the strorage case 8. The removable cleaning cartridge 1 is set on an opening and closing lid 9 provided in an opening part of a box body 22 in the storage case 8. An optical connector plug is cleaned by the cleaning cartridge 1 set on the lid 9.
