PURPOSE: A shrink foil is provided to exhibit a transparency, a low temperature contractibility, a high shrinkage, a low natural restriction. CONSTITUTION: A shrink foil comprises a non-crystalline copolymer of ethylene with an aromatic hydrocarbon. The copolymer can be prepared by copolymerization of ethylene with an alkylene aromatic hydrocarbon in the presence of a catalyst comprising (A) and (B), (C) and (A), or (B) and (C). (A) represents a transition metal complex of formula (III), wherein M<1>represents a group IV transition metal complex, A represents a group XVI atom;, J represents a group XIV atom, Cp1 represents an anionic cyclopentadiene residue, and X1, X2, R1-R6 represent H, halogen, alkyl, aralkyl, aryl, substituted silyl, alkoxy, aralkoxy, aryloxy, or disubstituted amino, or R1-R6 can be combined to form a ring. (B) represents one or more Al compounds selected from (B1) to (B3). (B1) represents an organoaluminum compound of formula E1aAlZ(3-a), (B2) represents a cyclic aluminoxane of formula (-Al(E2)-O-)b, and (B3) represents a linear aluminoxane of formula E3(-Al(E3)-O-)cAlE32, where in E1-E3 represent hydrocarbon, Z represents hydrogen or halogen, a is a positive number of at most 3, b is 2 or more, c is 1 or more. (C) is a boron compound (C1) to (C3). (C1) represents BQ1Q2Q3, (C2) represents G+(BQ1Q2Q3Q4)-, and (C3) represents (L-H)+(BQ1Q2Q3Q4)-, wherein B represents trivalent boron atom, Q1-Q4 represent halogen, optionally halogenated hydrocarbon, substituted silyl, alkoxy or disubstituted amino, G+ represents inorganic or organic cation, L represents Lewis acid, and (L-H)+ represents Bronsted acid.
