PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize optical devices of an octagonal shape and to permit the efficient blank layout of a plurality of planar optical elements which are surely fixable into the bores of permanent magnets by brazing from a planar optical material. SOLUTION: The plate surface is provided with punched holes 11, 12,... of an either circular or elliptical shape centering at intersection points O1, O2,... of cutting lines C1,..., C2,... for longitudinally and transversely cutting the planar optical material 10. The plate surface of the optical material 10 provided with these punched holes 11 and 12 is longitudinally and transversely cut and a plurality of the planar optical elements exhibiting the contour shapes of the approximately hexagonal shape are taken from the respective alternately continuous four straight sides and arc sides. |
