PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add information of various user's databases relatively to arbitrary positions of a figure or image such as a map, a plan, and structure drawings of various structures. SOLUTION: This synthesizing method has a 1st step for displaying a map according to map information of an electronic map information system, a 2nd step for prompting the specification of the place of a desirable object on the map, a 3rd step for registering coordinate information on the object specified on the map so that it corresponds to character information stored in an existent database that a user has, and a 4th step for displaying the part of a map including the object and also synthesizing and displaying the registered character information and object relatively to each other. |
