PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize advanced working time or cost and incorporate in an existing jack connector by installing a first metal electrode having a first terminal; a second meal electrode having a second terminal; and a dielectric spacer arranged between the electrodes in a crosstalk correcting capacitor supported within a housing. SOLUTION: A capacitor correcting assembly 80 has a housing 82 having a first gap 84 and a second gap 86. The gaps 84, 86 have an almost rectangular cross section, and are formed in an overlapped state within the housing 82, but the side walls are shifted in the horizontal direction by the central distance (d) of free end parts adjacent to a terminal contact line. The assembly 80 has two crosstalk correcting capacitors 88, 90. Each of the capacitors 88, 89 are constituted with a first electrode 92 and a second electrode 94. The electrodes 92, 94 have metal plate conductive finger-shaped terminals 96, 98 respectively. Each of the capacitors 88, 90 has a dielectric spacer 100 arranged between the electrodes 92, 94.
