PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical information recording apparatus capable of simplifying the structure and reducing the cost, because the structure of apparatus tends to become large in size due to the use of an AC coupling circuit, a gain selection circuit and a signal amplitude adjusting circuit for a couple of verify signals. SOLUTION: A subtraction circuit 312 for subtracting a signal reproduced with a couple of optical spots (S2), (S4) for verification, an AC coupling circuit 313 for eliminating a DC component of an output signal from the subtraction circuit and a signal amplitude adjusting circuit 315 for generating a verification signal DV by adjusting the amplitude of an output signal of the AC coupling circuit are provided to simultaneously record and verify the signal by using the generated verification signal DV.
