PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical pickup device capable of performing tracking correction control without sliding the center of an objective lens on the normal line of a disk constantly and without making the mechanism complexed. SOLUTION: A carriage 6 is provided with optical heads 7 and 8 with different specifications that travel along with the carriage 6. In the optical head 7, a rotary shaft that rotates with an objective lens 7a as an axis is provided, and the rotary shaft is supported by the carriage 6 rotatably. Also, one end of a connection body 9 is connected to the optical head 7, and the other end is supported so that it can travel on the rotary center of an optical disk D. As a result, the optical head 7 rotates while the distance between the optical head 7 and the rotary center of the optical disk D changes according to the move of the carriage 6, and a line for connecting the rotary center of the optical disk D to that of the objective lens 7a always agrees with the direction of the tracking correction of the optical head 7.
