PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently ensure heat-exchange performance and to sufficiently uniformize air passing through a core part. SOLUTION: In this evaporator, the highest temperature refrigerant of a refrigerant flowing through a core part 3 is caused to flow at one half part of the core part 3 through a spot situated windward from a lowest temperature refrigerant. An intermediate temperature refrigerant is caused to overlap at the other half part of the core part 3 and with the direction of a flow of air and a comparatively high temperature refrigerant is caused to flow to a spot situated windward. Further, the positions in a vertical direction of an inlet tank part 43 and a refrigerant transfer tank part 47 situated downstream are different from each other and the direction of a flow of a refrigerant in the inlet tank part 43 and the direction of a refrigerant in the refrigerant transfer tank 47 situated downstream are caused to coincide with each other in the direction of the width of the core part 3.
