<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically and beforehand select a preparatory virtual pass, while holding high reliability by determining whether there are free transmission lines having no part passing through a geographic position, selecting a preparatory path consisting of free transmission lines, when these free transmission lines exist or selecting a backup route from all other transmission lines, when there is no free transmission line. SOLUTION: A backup virtual pass(VP) designing device 3 comprehends VP list information 4 in advance and manages respective VPs by allocating priorities to them. A VP selection part 5 selects a suitable VP according to priorities and provides necessary information such as the storage of the VP in a transmission pass(TP), the storage of the TP in a physical system and the geographic position of the physical system to a routing part 6. The routing part 6 determines a route and applies the determined route information to a storage instruction part 7. The instruction part 7 instructs a communication network management system 2 to set up the storage, on the basis of the received data.</p> |
