PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an automatic converter in which positional information can be exchanged even between mobile navigation systems using different coordinate systems. SOLUTION: The mail affixing positional information coordinate system automatic converter 2 for portable telephone designates the coordinate system for the original data of the position of its own vehicle, and the coordinate system of a destination unit. The coordinate system for the data of the position of its own vehicle is converted into the coordinate system of the destination unit using an east longitude north latitude coordinate system converter 21, an absolute longitude latitude converter 23, or a secondary mesh normalization longitude latitude converter 24. Converted positional information is informed to other vehicles or a center. The center can also receive positional information from the navigation system of different coordinate system and can manage operation of vehicles efficiently.
