PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a device provided with a plurality of optical disks. SOLUTION: The optical disk device is provided with an optical disk- supporting means 4 for supporting a plurality of optical disks 2 and 3 which are arranged on the same rotary axis, an optical head 5 for tracking that generates a tracking signal by applying light to at least one optical disk 2 for tracking out of the plurality of optical disk 2 and 3, a plurality of optical heads 6 for data that perform recording and/or reproduction of data by applying light to the optical disk 3, and a tracking control means for controlling the tracking of the plurality of optical heads 6 for data based on a tracking signal from the optical head 5 for tracking. Also, a groove part 2a is formed at the disk 2 for tracking and groove parts 2a are not formed at other optical disks 3.
