PURPOSE: A base unit is provided to diversify the modification of designs on constructing the finishing materials and to extend the selective range of materials. CONSTITUTION: In a base unit (1) provided with a main base body (2) of a mat shape installing several finishing materials (5, 5A-5D) through an installation surface (2t), a main base body (2) comprises several intersection parts (3W) fit to a tile (5) installed on an installation surface (2t) not to come out upward and an intersection surface (2t) comprises a tongued joint surface (30p) where a grooved joint surface (51t) of a tile (5) is adjusted to be able to fix/unfix in the direction of X and Y, so that a tile (5) is installed on a main base body (1) firmly by adjusting with an intersection part (W) and a latticed frame such as the former base unit is not necessary.
