PURPOSE: A trimetal spring material for 14" CDT color braun tube is provided, to reduce the expansion coefficient, to improve the landing error compensation, and to lower the cost. CONSTITUTION: The trimetal spring material comprises two STS 430H stainless steel plates comprising 0.12 wt% of C or less, 0.75 wt% of Si or less, 1.0 wt% of Mn or less, 0.04 wt% of P or less, 0.03 wt% of S or less, 0.6 wt% of Ni or less, 16-18.0 wt% of Cr, and the balance of Fe; and an STS 305H stainless steel plate comprising 0.12 wt% of C or less, 1.0 wt% of Si or less, 2.0 wt% of Mn or less, 0.045 wt% of P or less, 0.03 wt% of S or less, 10.5-13.0 wt% of Ni or less, 17.0-19.0 wt% of Cr, and the balance of Fe, between the two STS 430H stainless steel plates. The interface is welded by common continuous electron beam welding.
