PURPOSE: Provided is a method for determining a slip between a winding transmission mode and a pair of frictional disks capable of obtaining a persuasive and definite record easily. CONSTITUTION: In a method of determining a slip between two component members transmitting a motion by the frictional contact thereof in a type where frictional connection can be varied by a change in a pressing force acting between the component members, a value equivalent to a frictional coefficient produced between the component members in transmission of motion is measured in connection with the pressing force, and a rise of the frictional coefficient when lowering the pressing force is evaluated as a slip.
