PURPOSE: An optimized synchronization preamble structure is provided to optimize the time domain signal characteristic of an A field and a receiver synchronization characteristic based on an automatically correlation. CONSTITUTION: A time domain signal of an A field of a preamble for synchronization in an OFDM(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) transmitting system is generated by performing inverse fast Fourier transform of a frequency domain string SA composed of twelve complex symbols mapped by inverse fast Fourier transform of 64 points based on a mapping rule S-26, 26 = sqrt(2)*(0, 0, 0, 0, S1, 0, 0, 0, S2, 0, 0, 0, S3, 0, 0, 0, S4, 0, 0, 0, S5, 0, 0, 0, S6, 0, 0, 0, S7, 0, 0, 0, S8, 0, 0, 0, S9, 0, 0, 0, S10, 0, 0, 0, S11, 0, 0, 0, S12, 0, 0, 0, 0).
