The servosteering comprises a cylinder (1) having a chamber wherein a piston (2) is axially displaceable, the piston having a rack (3) which meshes with a rocker (5) linked to the corresponding wheels of a vehicle so that the application of a hydraulic fluid (oil) to the chambers of the cylinder (1) and to the chamber (16) wherein is set the rocker (5) makes possible the displacement in one direction or the other of the piston (2) and consequently the rocking in one direction or the other of the rocker (5) and consequently the displacement of the wheels. The novelty consists in that the chambers of the cylinder (1) and of the rocker (5) can be supplied externally from a control valve (10) which is actuated when the steering wheel of the vehicle is actuated by the driver, or that the oil enters these chambers directly through the conduits (19 and 22) in order to perform the same function without oil passing through the control valve (10) but instead controlling the oil passage through said conduits (19 and 22) by means of a control system which enables to steer the vehicle automatically without the intervention of the driver. The oil injection and return conduits include selector valves (18, 24, 20 and 25) which, controlled through the corresponding control system, provide such double operation mode, i.e. manual and automatic, of the servosteering. |
