The RF transmission system has an oscillator phase (3) adjustment loop (2) which is voltage commanded and transmitting a signal (22). A modulator (4) modulates the transmitter signal. There is a received signal comparator (9). There is a fractional frequency divider (17-19) between the modulator and comparator.
