HEAT-RESISTANT EXPANDED GRAPHITE SHEET AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

A heat-resistant expanded graphite sheet containing phosphorus pentoxide and a salt of phosphoric acid. The expanded graphite sheet shows a reduced rate of consumption by oxidation and excellent heat resistance even when it is exposed to a high temperature of 700 DEG or higher for a long period of time, and also has satisfactory performance capabilities with respect to other various characteristics required for an expanded graphite sheet of this type.
