<p>A process for producing a target substance by using a microorganism which comprises culturing the microorganism in a medium, producing and accumulating the target substance in the medium and then collecting the target substance from the culture medium, wherein use is made as the above microorganism a variant or a recombinant showing lowered discharge of an intermediate or a substrate in the biosynthesis system of the target substance to thereby improve the productivity of the target substance.</p> |
