The ventilation valve (6) has a float (20) to seal a ventilation pipe (8). The float is located in a valve housing (14) with intake opening (18) for fuel, which is at least partially dynamically closed by flow-operated sealing element (26). The dynamic reaction response of the sealing element is larger than that of the float. The sealing element is plate-shaped, and is held axially moveable on the intake opening.
