<p>The invention concerns an interface device (15) comprising a buffer storage (16) receiving a flow of digital characters, means (19) for controlling the transmission of characters coming from the buffer storage on a two-way asynchronous link, the characters transmitted and received on the two-way asynchronous link, as well as said flow, having identical mean flow. The transmission controlling means co-operate with the reception means to control the transmission of a character from the buffer storage in response to the reception of a character on the asynchronous link. The invention is particularly useful in telecommunication equipment items (1) connected by asynchronous links (4) to computers (3) equipped with communication processing programmes.</p> |
