The method for restoring, in particular, for insulating rafter, collar-beam and purlin roofs of old buildings involves application of a layer (10) of an elastically deformable insulation material on the adjacent lateral surfaces of leveling planks (5) and/or rafters (1), and subsequent, compression of the gap between them by means of connector elements (11) until this gap is homogeneously filled with the insulation material, and heat bridges are eliminated. Also claimed are an arrangement and an insulation material for implementation of the proposed method.
